Become a student in the Unit

Last update: 20 January 2020

Are you a student and would you like to take part in the research undertaken in the Agap joint research unit?

Would you like to join us?

You can consult training offers, or send a spontaneous application to the Unit’s different governing institutions:

Where should you apply?

Request a CIRAD course
Request an INRAE course

In addition, feel free to contact directly the Unit’s team leaders (copy of application in .pdf form to prescyllia.pons@cirad.fr) depending on your fields of interest.

Are you already a student in the Unit?

Your scientific team and the “Training and Teaching” cell are there to help you with all your formalities and contribute to your professional development.

The scientific events proposed internally and externally are especially for you. In particular, if you are in Montpellier you can broaden your scientific vision during events organized by the Unit, and by taking part in different scientific events of the Agropolis community. You will have the opportunity to present your work during Agap’s annual doctoral students’ day, and at various national and international conferences.

You can join the Graines d’Agap association created by the Unit’s PhD students and benefit from the scientific and social events it proposes, and from a mine of good advice given on its website.

Will you soon be leaving us for new scientific horizons?

We hope that you enjoyed your stay at Agap and found it rewarding. We would remind you that your data remain the property of the Agap joint research unit and its governing organizations, and that it is your responsibility to class them and hand them over to your scientific supervisor, along with your laboratory notebooks.

Remember to remain in contact, as we need to keep track of your professional career. To that end, we invite you to join the  Agap Alumni - Genetic Improvement and Adaptation of Mediterranean and Tropical Plants group on LinkedIn, where we regularly publish news and advertise job vacancies.
