IAGE, an innovative young company specialized in Digital PCR hosted by the CIRAD, Agap Unit.
I.A.G.E company is hosted at the CIRAD, Agap Unit since 2017 and provides service delivery in digital PCR analyses. The ambition of I.A.G.E team is to provide access to this new technology as quickly and easily as possible for everyone thanks to its know-how. Their analytical platform collaborates with the entire research community and offers access to new methods to remove technical barriers at interesting costs and conditions.
DPCR has proven major competitive advantages over other PCR technologies. This tool has rapidly become a reference in the medical field and has been transposed to new applications since 2012. Indeed, it allows an absolute quantification as well as a strong resilience to the various inhibitors usually encountered. Removing these technical bottlenecks allows for a lot of less expensive applications.
Analysis quickness, precision, detection threshold, absolute quantification, limited samples and diversity of possible type of samples to be studied make it a major new research tool. Several applications have been validated by I.A.G.E. in waters, soils and plants.
I.A.G.E provides detections and/or absolute quantification analyses of DNA or RNA, even in very low quantity, in any matrix. The ability to transpose easily probes designed for the qPCR makes it a tool with simplified transfer.
