The 24 Rencontres HélioSPIR took place in June and were very well received by the participants

The 24th Rencontres HélioSPIR took place on June 13 and 15, 2023 at Agropolis International. More than 130 people from the public and private sectors attended the 32 papers and 12 practical sessions, and took part in round-table discussions with the Groupe Français de Chimiométrie (GFC).

HelioSPIR is an association that is almost 20 years old, made up of over 120 members, 1/3 of whom join every year. It's a network of over six hundred people from the private and public sectors, 40% of them from the Occitanie region.

HelioSPIR aims to bring together scientists and users from the entire French-speaking community within a network, and to promote the use of near infrared spectroscopy. It is an international center of expertise in the field of near-infrared spectroscopy. It relies heavily on the Agropolis scientific community, and its network now extends beyond the borders of the Occitanie region and France.

Since 2017, the HelioSPIR Board of Directors has been chaired by Gilles Chaix, a CIRAD researcher from the Agap Institut at PHIV. The Rencontres Scientifiques are organized annually and prepared by a team of 10 people.
