Two ANR projects accepted

The results of the call for generic projects by the ANR have just been released

  • Project SCOOP (coordinator : Hélène Fréville, team Ge2pop) "Selecting for cooperative crops to develop sustainable agriculture"" (2020-2024), partners: UMR AGAP, CEFE, ISEM, BPMP. Objectives of the project : identify traits involved in plant-plant interactions, and the genetic bases of cooperative phenotypes; test whether cooperation has evolved during domestication and subsequent breeding, design breeding schemes that promote plant cooperation and optimize crop yield in high-density agrosystems
  • Project G2WAS (coordinator: Laurent Torregrosa, team DAAV) "Drought tolerance in Vitis vinifer" (2020-2024), partenaires : UMR AGAP, LEPSE, MIA (Paris), GQE (Le Moulon), IFV (Montpellier). Objectives of the project : To decipher the genetic and physiological bases of adaptation to drought, to incorporate them into breeding programs for new varieties challenging climate changes.
