Great success of the eucalyptus IUFRO conference in Montpellier
The main objective of the quadri-annual conference of International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) held at the CORUM Confererence Center in Montpellier (17-21 September) was to “to contribute to improving the sustainability of Eucalyptus plantations in a context of global changes.”
Participation was a great success : 33 different countries, with strong representation from Brazil, Asia, Madagascar and South Africa.
The conference was organized by CIRAD, IUFRO and MUSE.
Colleagues from UMR AGAP : Jean-Marc Bouvet, Jean-Marc Gion (members of the scientific committee), Olivier Monteuuis and Coralie Noémie-dit-Bertrand (members of the organization committee) ) were heavily involved in the coordination.
About ten oral presentations or posters were presented.
