The research activities of the Agap Institute joint research unit are organized in 4 thematic clusters centred on scientific topics. -
Thirteen research teams are working on tropical and Mediterranean crops (rice, wheat, sorghum, sugarcane, banana, coconut, oil palm, yam, coffee, rubber, cacao, cotton, apple, grapevine, olive, forest species, eucalyptus, etc.) covering a very broad range of biological characteristics and uses by farmers.

Discover some projects managed by the unit (projects ordered in descending order of end date) : they reflect the variety of the scientific targets, of the geographical areas where projects take place, and of the funding sources. Among the projects hereby described around half are supported by French public funds (ANR, foundation Agropolis), a third by European funds (H2020, regional funds) and the rest through diverse sources (French and foreign private partners, international organizations, ...)
