Plateformes informatiques

L’unité développe des plateformes logicielles (modélisation : Open Alea et bioinformatique : South Green Bioinformatics platform) en collaboration avec d’autres institutions (Inria, Inrae, IRD, Bioversity). Elle a mis en place une plateforme d’accueil international accompagnant les projets de recherche mettant en œuvre les outils et savoir-faire existant sur les différents plateaux.
Les plateformes sont pilotées par un comité de pilotage scientifique où sont représentées les institutions et unités partenaires. Leur bilan est présenté sur une base annuelle devant des comités d’utilisateurs.

South Green Bioinformatics Platform
This platform is dedicated to bioinformatics applied to genetic and genomic studies on tropical and Mediterranean crops of agronomic interest. It is a network of scientists specialized in bioinformatics that releases new methods and offers resources for computing and data storage. It brings together teams from various research institutes in Montpellier (France), such as Bioversity International, CIRAD, INRAE, L'Institut Agro and IRD. -
Software Environment for Plant Modeling OpenAlea
The purpose of this platform is to represent, analyse and model the functioning and growth of plant architecture.
