"Plants and us"

Last update: 6 April 2022

The Agap Institute took up the challenge of highlighting the value of plant research to the general public by designing an animation that could be presented by Institute staff regardless of their profession, supervisory body or research team.

This game is based on the premise that the general public no longer pays attention to the plant origins of many everyday items. With this game, we can make the presentation of the different plants we work on, as well as the description of our research themes, fun and educational. Finally, in the current context of "infobesity" and fake news, this game can provoke debate and encourage reflection on research topics that may be controversial (GMOs, palm oil, intensive agriculture, climate change, etc.). It also enables us to reconsider the long time needed for scientific advances and the importance of society through participatory science.
