n collaboration with the partners, you will support (potentially up to the creation) the breeding programs responding to the identified international stakes and mobilizing new methods (multi-trait selection, generation acceleration, genomic predictions) to optimize the management and valorization of the diversity and improve the genetic gain. You will collaborate with researchers from different disciplines, including those working on the coconut tree, as well as other Arecaceae. You will have to consolidate an international partnership network, and to build research projects with researchers from producing countries. Finally, you will ensure the reinforcement of the skills of the partners, researchers and students in genetics and plant improvement.
