Come and develop your expertise in genotyping and sequencing and participate in a variety of research projects.
The genotyping platform of the unit is a collective whose vocation is to make genotyping and sequencing tools and methods available to the Montpellier scientific community. Within this collective, you will be in charge of the management of a capillary sequencer ABI 3500 XL (common research equipment). In addition, you will conduct molecular analyses, in particular genotyping (SSR, targeted PCR, KASP), and the realization of high-throughput sequencing libraries (re-sequencing, capture sequencing, genotyping by sequencing).
Your work will be integrated in the quality strategy of the unit, especially concerning the traceability of laboratory experiments. You will be able to propose, write and develop summary documents, reports, procedures and operating modes for the platform.
You will participate in the training and supervision of trainees and external contributors hosted by the platform.
