"Les agrumes du nord de la Méditerranée" a book by Franck Curk, François Luro, Giovanni Minuto and Gianni Nieddu

To unite the territories of the shores of the Ligurian Sea and those of the northern Tyrrhenian Sea in an operation of shared enhancement and development of our historical citrus varieties

Citrus fruits are today a strong symbol of the Mediterranean. This book, published by Alain Piazzola, honors the varieties of citrus fruits grown in Corsica, Sardinia, Tuscany, Liguria and the French Riviera and discusses their history, from their origins to the present day, as well as the know-how that is strongly rooted in the territories and which makes them terroirs.
This book is the result of a European Interreg project between France and Italy for which 4 researchers worked, two of them French, Franck CURK and François LURO of the Agap Institute research unit grouping together INRAE, CIRAD, the Agro Montpellier Institute and the University of Montpellier, as well as two Italian researchers, Giovanni MINUTO of the Cersaa of Liguria and Gianni NIEDDU of the University of Sassari in Sardinia
