Organisation du "First International Workshop on Biotechnology Applied to Tropical Woody Plants"
This Congress will take place from 22th to 25th October 2012 in Brazil, at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA)-Minas Gerais (MG).
This event will make an overview about the state of art of genomics, genetic transformation and micropropagation of important tropical perennial species such as coffee, citrus, cocoa, rubber tree and eucalyptus, for example.
Your information: This Conference is co-organized by Cirad and the Federal University de Lavras (Minas Gerais, Brazil) in the framework of the CIBA. It will take place over four days and will include several conferences presented by 20 Brazilian and French (including 7 of the UMR Agap) researchers/professors specialists of these scientific topics.
Discussions will be also organized in the form of workshops to promote the exchange of ideas and experiences among researchers.
