Workshop CIBA’2013 « Biotic and Abiotic Stress Tolerance in Plants: the Challenge for the 21st Century »

This congress proposes an overview of research projects studying plant tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses in the Brazil and France by genomics, physiology and genetics approaches.

This Congress is co-organized by Embrapa, the University Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC, Ilhéus-Bahia), Cirad and IRD in the frame of the CIBA Research Platform. It will be held over 3 days from November 6th to 8th, 2013 and include fourty presentations made by researchers specialist of these scientific topics. On the 15 French researchers participating to this meeting, the UMR AGAP will be strongly represented with the presence of 12 researchers (Gilles Chaix, Didier Clément, Evelyne Coste, Bénédicte Favreau, Dominique Garcia, Jean-Christophe Glaszmann, Marc Giban, Sylvie Lewicki Dhainaut, Pierre Marraccini, Fabienne Micheli, Raphaël Morillon et Patrice This).
