The aim of the present study was to perform a genomic analysis of non-specific lipid-transfer proteins (nsLTPs) in coffee. Several nsLTPs-encoding cDNA and gene sequences were cloned from Coffea arabica and Coffea canephora species.

This work represents a genomic analysis of proteins of transfer of lipids (nsLTP) of the coffee tree (C. arabica and C. canephora). A study of the diversity of the genes, of them the expression during the development of the fruit and the analysis of them promoters(developers) in transgenic plantations. A 3D structure of nsLTP was modelled to make it represent the SNP in the space to argue the possible impact of the differences in sequences of the function(office) of corresponding proteins.
