Objectives

  • Understand and control the quality of « Clémentine de Corse »
  • Introduce and characterize new varieties in the Citrus Biological Resources Center
  • Acquire knowledge over origins of cultivated species, genes implicated in quality and stress tolerance (cold, water).
  • Create new varieties with strong typicity out of the “Clémentine” production period
  • Breed new varieties in a participatory approach
  • Study innovation strategies in the citrus sector
  • Establish a steering committee and a selection committee
  • Empower each of the actors
