Research professions

Last update: 7 April 2022

We visit secondary schools to showcase the diversity of jobs at a research center and the complementary skills needed to successfully complete a research project.

Our aim is to raise students' awareness of issues linked to these current challenges: food and nutritional safety (from field to plate), climate change, sustainable development, energy and sustainability transition, digital transition, knowledge transition, social inclusion, etc.
Through the discovery of a scientific project, we aim to encourage students to develop scientific reasoning, regardless of the educational path they choose later on. Developing a critical mind is one of the keys to gaining perspective in the face of infobesity and FakeNews. The aim of research is to respond to societal demands, without allowing ourselves to be influenced by fads or trends.
To date, we have met with over 120 students.
