This work aims to measure the degree of reproductive isolation and to dissect the genetic basis of heterosis and/or outcross depression in a self-pollinated species. Our results show that genetic incompatibilities, caused by dominance effects, can accumulate at a very local scale.

Depuis le 14 juin 2021, Bárbara HUFNAGEL, à rejoint l'équipe Structure évolutive des agrumes, polyploïdie et amélioration génétique (SEAPAG). Basée à Montpellier dans un premier temps, elle sera affectée ensuite en Guadeloupe où elle collaborera aux projets actuellement développés sur les agrumes.
